Home for the Holidays

It was a fun week down in Alabama. Nothing says Christmas like fun with the family. Here are a few highlights from the Sunny South...

Ben's manger for the Baby Jesus. Direct quote: "You know, Brynnan, I am very talented at drawing and building. Look at my Lego manger."

Decorating the tree...Go ahead, Spence-a-nator, I'll take care of holding up the tree, you put on all the decorations...

Mac Attack!
The finished product--one GIGANTIC tree!

No Christmas tree is complete without an Aubie Nutcracker:)

Making Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies with Mason and Ben

Waiting for the cookies to bake...Ben is obviously in quite the silly mood!

Someone needs to tell him a watched cookie doesn't bake!

Ta Da! All done...Good work, guys!

Ben's Christmas list...which included: A 3 dollar bill, pet parrot, a real ninja, a real ninja sword, and a butler. The kid has high expectations from Santa...

Pre-Church photo.

Playing Headbandz after dinner...Mason's favorite!

Ben was pretty good at this game...he got The North Pole really quickly!!

Then we moved on to Charades. Emma was Ben's permanent assistant...any time he had an idea for us to guess, he called for his assistant. At one point, he was even renting her out...

Now, I'm pretty good at Charades, but even I couldn't guess Peasant Bowing Down to a King...sheesh!

Pre-invasion Christmas Morning

Santa came to see Emma, Mason, and Ben!

Ben made his dad a bottle robot for Christmas using the bottles from their Cub Scout bottle rocket contest...what a cutie!

And last, but not least, the holiday wouldn't have been complete without going home to Stockton to visit the Number 1 Grandmama who turned 88 on Christmas Day!
